COVID-19 Update

UPDATE: May 4th, 2020

COVID-19 Refund Policy

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic some families may not be able to participate in the rescheduled season. The Board of Directors has amended our refund policy to allow a 70% refund. You may also defer 100% of your registration fee for a future season (Fall or Spring). All refund requests must be received no later than May 20th 2020. If you would like to request a refund, please send an email to [email protected] and provide the name of the registered player.

Parents and Coaches,

We would like to thank everyone for your patience and understanding with the COVID-19 delay within our baseball family and to our entire livelihood as we try our very best to deal with this every day.

The health of our players, coaches, umpires, spectators, and volunteers is of foremost importance. Over the last several weeks, we have been following the guidelines and mandates set forth by the CDC, State of Oklahoma, and the City of Tulsa authorities.

The unprecedented situation we find ourselves in makes it difficult to plan too far ahead. However, we would like you to know that we are committed to playing ball. We have our plans ready to go as soon as we get the green light to proceed.

As Steve Keener, President of Little League International, said in a recent video, "What we're really in right now is an extended rain delay... As soon as you can tell me when the rain's going to stop, I'll give you the plan for how we're going to play."

There have been some great posts to our Tulsa Little League facebook site from Little League International, Major League Baseball, and our sponsors that may help players, coaches, and parents. From playing catch and hitting off a batting tee in the backyard to the baseball and softball instructional content and the pure entertainment of watching Little League World Series highlights.

Many aspects of our life are in a delay as we stay safe at home. We are very encouraged by recent positive developments and hope this will allow the players to become active in sporting activities again very soon. There will be time to get oriented to new safety guidelines, practices, instruction/training, game season, and special events.  Stay tuned for specific plans and dates once we have the recommendation to proceed.

We are anxious to get back to America’s favorite pastime.

Sincerely,

 Tulsa National Little League Board
